Protecting Australasian organisations from email domain spoofing with DMARC.

Over the past two years SMX has been monitoring the uptake and deployment of DMARC in Australia and New Zealand. In May 2021, we released our Annual Survey of DMARC Deployment among Government, Enterprise and SMB in the Australasian region.

The results show that there has been a big improvement in DMARC deployment among certain sectors of the local market. There are also some clear trends to be seen that indicate DMARC awareness is increasing although there is still a long way to go before we see widespread adoption of this critical email security protocol among Australian and New Zealand organisations.
